INSTALLATIONS

Below you will find some selected projects over the last years of the entire production plant made by Inter-Raf team.

Synthetic Fuel Production Plant

Investor:                                   Ekobenz Sp.z o.o.
Location:                                  Kleszczów.
Capacity:                                  22500 tons / year.
Completion of the project:      2016 year.

The synthetic fuels production plant in Bogumiłów produces gasoline from ethanol in the amount of 22,500 tons/year. The design and construction of this plant ran up from the ground, without any industrial plant in the immediate vicinity. This brings certain challenges, the main ones being the lack of energetic media availability. The project required the creation from scratch of all necessary infrastructure such as electrical power supply, boiler room, technological furnace, flare, storage tanks, car tank terminal etc. It was a great challenge for both the Investor and for all contractors involved in the project. Inter-Raf's scope included development of a multi-discipline executive documentation for the plant's heart - fuel production plant and its connection to the planned auxiliary infrastructure. Within the framework of the project our office has made documentation in the fields of: technological, mechanical - piping and apparatus, construction, instrumentation, electrical. In addition, Inter-Raf has developed explosion hazard documentation, documentation for notification unit needs, and supervised the completion of the construction process.

Biodiesel production plant capacity upgrade up to 250,000 tons/year.

 Investor:                                   Orlen South S.A.
 Location:                                  Trzebinia.
 Capacity:                                  250,000 tons/year.
Completion of the project:      2017 year.

Orlen South S.A. Biodiesel production plant in Trzebinia produced 150.000 tons/year before the modernization. As part of the project, production capacity was increased to 250.000 tons/year. New major units such as reactors and columns along with piping and a whole range of apparatus and equipment such as heat exchangers, pumps, decanters, etc. was designed as part of this modernization. The external tank park and new methanol unloading station was built. Assembly works were performed on an existing building. Inter-Raf's work included the development of a building design to obtain a building permit, multi-discipline executive documentation and specifications for equipment and apparatus. Within the framework of the project our office has made documentation in the fields of: technological, mechanical - piping and apparatus, construction, instrumentation, electrical. In addition, Inter-Raf has developed explosion hazard documentation, documentation for JN, TDT, and author's supervision to complete the construction process.

Prepolymer production plant.

Investor:                                    PCC Rokita.
Location:                                  Brzeg Dolny
Capacity:                                   2500 tons/year
Completion of the project:       2015 year.

The investor has allocated prepolymer production plant in the existing building that has been adapted to the applicable law. Inter-Raf designed new tank farm and loading/unloading cartank station outside of the building. Additionally, loading stations for pallet boxes and pallet storehouses in the separated premises of the building, were installed. Total production capacity of the plant is 2500 tons/year. The installation enables the production of several different types of prepolymers simultaneously. The installation uses an interesting way of heating/cooling of the reactors. The process is very sensitive to elevated temperature then oil system was designed that allows maintaining the required temperature - different for each reactor at the same time. Oil system is able to start rapid cooling of each reactor when the reaction "escapes" above the planned process temperature.

Inter-Raf's scope of work included the development of a building design to obtain a building permit, multi-discipline executive documentation and specifications for equipment and apparatus. Within the framework of the project our office has made documentation in the fields of: technological, mechanical - piping and apparatus, construction, instrumentation, electricity, water and sewage. In addition, Inter-Raf has created documentation for UDT, TDT and author's supervision to complete the construction process.

Monoethylene glycol recovery plant from a stream of mixed glycols.

Investor:                           PKN Orlen S.A.
Location:                           Plock.
Efficiency:                         2000 tons/year.
Project Completion:                2015.

The aim of the project was to build a system for the continuous distillation of monoethylene glycol (MEG) from a mixed glycol stream, which was supposed to replace the planned intermittent installation of this type. The planned installation was built in a new location with an existing production facility.
Within the project framework, a rack with a concrete anti-fouling tray, a storage tank for the finished product was built. The equipment involved in the distillation process - columns, evaporators, condensers, vacuum system and pumps. Total production capacity of the plant is 2000 tons / year. The installation allows the production of MEG glycol with a purity of 99.998%.
Inter-Raf's work included the development of a construction project with an environmental decision and building permit to obtain, multi-discipline engineering documentation and specifications for equipment and apparatus. Within the framework of the project our office has made documentation in the fields of: technological, mechanical - piping and apparatus, construction, instrumentation, electricity, water and sewage. In addition, Inter-Raf has developed documentation for UDT, explosion hazard documentation, conducted HAZOP, completed industrial safety instructions and supervised the completion of the construction process.
