Before carrying out the task and carrying out the design documentation, we usually recommend to our Clients the preparation of the initial documentation in the form of a variant conceptual design containing a preliminary cost statement.
Multidisciplinary
concept designs allow Purchaser to
evaluate the solutions proposed by the designer at the initial stage of
investment realization. This is a stage that our company always recommends to
its customers, because allow to avoid any surprises in the future by little
cost. At this stage, the customer receives knowledge of location of the main
components of the installation, the solutions proposed by the designers in each
discipline, the list of major equipment to purchase, and a summary of costs.
This allows the Customer to introduce its comments even before the start of the
basic design process and to know the projected investment costs to an accuracy
of up to 20%. The concept design is also a document that enables Clients to
further enforce approved solutions on contractors.
